The Week Ending Friday, Nov 13, 2015
My duties this week includes finishing Ravens TV commercial by filming it and later giving it to tech to finish the final touches. We want to get it done as soon as possible because we plan on posting it on Ravens TV commercial next week so we can promote our product and get the whole school to be interested in it. After we were done filming we decide to create a new plan to design a better commercial than before. My group(marketing) thought of a great idea of having a pizza sale/popcorn sale or a raffle. So this week we had to plan for popcorn sale and make sure all the seeds and butter were prepared. Sandra and I began creating a design for the poster that will go on the cinderella staircase, but after we were done and about to start, Maya(President) had a great idea to print one instead of draw one. Robert and I attempt to create the business card but it didn't work out to great and we gave it to tech team to work on it. After the poster were handed out the whole marketing team posted the poster on the walls all over the school. On Thursday, we had a promotion event where we tried to sell pre-orders and raffle, but that didn't turn out so great. I was walking around in a t-shirt convincing people to buy pre-orders. I also helped hand out the Timbits.
The challenges my group had we couldn't finish the commercial the week before and had to push the deadline to this week. We were also sometimes very bad organize as a company and didn't know what to do. We also have a lot of great ideas, but most of our ideas don't work because we can't get permission to do so. Also, most of the poster are getting rip off the wall was another problem.
The upcoming goals we have been creating more T-shirts to sell at Merville Mall and to create a better commercials.
The Week Ending Friday, Nov 20, 2015
My duties this week includes help Matthew hold the shirt as he put the frame on the t-shirt(logo). Later Sandra assigns me to pin t-shirts against the wall to dry. I also help color the poster at the end of class.
The challenges my group was that we didn't have enough time and had to force everyone to join production and help produce shirts. This meant the completion of the poster and other ads.
The upcoming goals we have been finishing the GSA t-shirts and creating new posters and getting more orders.
The Week Ending Friday, Nov 27, 2015
My duties this week includes creating a new poster design and selling our pitch to the English teachers. This means it will help create a pre-order and earn us more product. This week we decided to work on the course instead of improving and expanding the company.
The challenges my group encounter was nothing really.
The upcoming goals we are producing t-shirts for Yearbook club and the Volleyball club.
